The course
This course is organised for children and teenagers from 6 to 16 years.The scope is to introduce children to art helping them to develop manuality and to express their fantasy. During the year, pupils are thaugh with individual or collective works. The students will encounter different techniques (pencil, tempera and water colours) in combination with a variety of exercises, eg. studies of flowers, plants and animals but also development of a topic.

Young beginners

At first, children learn how to use different kind of pencils, and to see the omber and the light, developping the sense of observation.

In a second stage, they learn how to use colours copying or making reinterpretations of images. A large repertory allow them to choose their preferred themes.

Composition on a theme, and differents techniques

In order to develop children imagination some compositions on a theme are proposed with mixed tecniques such as pastel, charcoal and china, just to name a few.

Composition on a theme, and differents techniques

In order to develop children imagination some compositions on a theme are proposed with mixed tecniques.

Other techniques: sbalzo, creta and collage

Pupils also experiment others techniques like collage, modelling with creta, engraving on copper.

Drawing and painting outdoor.

Once each trimester, in collaboration with some parents, children are brought to draw in the florentine museums or outside in order to be in direct contact with master pieces.
