At a first stage the students learn how to use different kind of pencils copying drawing from old masters.

During this stage the student begins to work from life and uses other graphic tecniques like sanguigna and charcoal and experiment different kind of papers.

At an advanced level, students work on more difficult subjects such as portrait and nude with model. The human figure is introducted with a study of the anatomy and proportions of the head and the body.

Then students learn how to coordinate the eye and the hand and to train the visual memory with some drawing/painting sessions with model.
